Pewsey Mini joint training sessions!
Sunday 1st March
For the first time in a number of years Pewsey renewed the local derby with Marlborough Minis at under 7, 8, 9 and 10 age groups. The matches were well supported by players and parents alike. Matches were hard fought and played with great spirit, leaving all players tired and satisfied with events. Huge thanks to all who attended from Marlborough which made the day a special one. Many thanks to Jo Minshall and Jo Williamson ably assisted by their daughters who ensure all the hungry mouths were fed. Pictures are from the under 9 match.
Sunday 22nd February
The 22nd February saw the restart of matches with an away visit to Amesbury . The club played at under, 10, 9, 8 and 7 levels with some really competitive matches ar all age groups. This was also a chance for a joint training session and get to know you exercise as the clubs will combine to play at the Chipfest on the 22nd March and the Help for Heroes festival on the 29th
A well organised and fun session which was well attended. Huge thanks to all at Amesbury who organised a great day. This Sunday 1st March the club are looking forward to hosting Marlborough at 10.00am
Sunday 11th & 18th January 26
In the last two weeks Pewsey have hosted Devizes on the 11/1 and Amesbury on 18/1. Representative matches were held at under 10, under 9 under 8 and under 7 levels. On each occasion over 60 children were involved.
Despite difficult conditions matches were played in great spirits with numerous occasions of great skill from both sides. Great club days which were a credit to all clubs kids and parents. Many thanks to Jo Williamson and her team of volunteers who ensure all the hungry mouths were fed.
Sunday 9th November 25
On Sunday 09/11/25 the Pewsey Minis squad hit the road to Swindon RFC where our combined u7/8s had a combined training session with Swindon. Our u9s and u10s played fixtures against Swindon, our first of the new season! With plenty of enthusiastic young players flying the Pewsey flag, the teams showcased incredible skills, team spirit, and determination throughout.
The day was a masterclass in Teamwork, Respect, Discipline and Sportsmanship, but most importantly, it was all about FUN!
Huge thanks to the amazing parents for making it all happen and a massive shoutout to Swindon RFC for hosting such a fantastic day #UTV
